Box Score Westminster College held off a fourth-period Rockhurst rally to post a 9-7 victory over the Hawks in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Saturday at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Hawks scored two goals early in the fourth period to narrow Westminster's lead to 8-7. The Griffins held Rockhurst scoreless over final 10 minutes while scoring an insurance goal with 2:53 left.

Michael Beckham led the Hawks with four goals. Alex Hebson, Christian Schveninger and Jake Hardin each scored one goal for Rockhurst.
Ian Meister won six-of-10 faceoffs and collected four ground balls. Alex Pfeil finished with 16 saves.

Westminster outshot Rockhurst 49-25. Beckham led the Hawks with eight shots. Martin posted four shots.

The Hawks (5-3, 3-2 RMAC) return home to host Huntingdon College on Thursday, March 24.
