Northwest Missouri shut down Rockhurst in the second half in posting a 78-67 victory over Hawks Saturday in Maryville, Mo.

Northwest Missouri outscored the Hawks 38-27 in the second half. The Bearcats held Rockhurst to nine field goals in the final 20 minutes.

Mary Dineen led the Hawks with 30 points on 10-of-26 field goal shooting. Jillian Myers posted 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Morgan Harwood collected a team-high eight rebounds.

Rockhurst shot 40.4 percent from the field (23 of 57) and 78.3 percent from the foul line (18 of 23). Northwest Missouri made 27-of-51 field goals (52.9 percent) and 17-of-21 free throws (81.0 percent). Tanya Meyer paced the Bearcats with 29 points.
