Rietzke powers Hawks to 3-0 win over Maryville

Morgan Rietzke, left and Anne Hellwege led the Hawks with 14 kills and 17 digs, respectively.

Box Score Morgan Rietzke posted 14 kills with a .571 hitting percentage to lead Rockhurst to its 11th consecutive victory. The Hawks swept Maryville 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-14) Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Mattie Gray and Karli Reichert both finished with eight kills. Alyssa Woodman tallied seven kills and six digs. Mary Rolf collected six kills and three blocks. Anne Hellwege had a team-high 17 digs. Lily Thornberg (21) and Grace Carter (15) combined for 36 assists. Thornberg also had four service aces.

The Hawks (19-4, 10-1 GLVC) host at Emporia State on Tuesday, October 25 at 6 p.m.
