Ffith-ranked Hawks dominate Drury, 5-0

Box Score Michael Panarisi came off the bench to score two goals to pace a strong Rockhurst attack in a 5-0 victory over Drury Friday night at Bourke Field.

The fifth-ranked Hawks are in first place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference at 11-1-1, holding a one-game lead over Missouri S&T.

Panarisi opened the scoring with a goal in the 28th minute on a 10-yard shot. Mitch Moncada and Kaleb Jackson scored goals one minute apart in the second half to give the Hawks a 3-0 lead. Panarisi came back to score his second goal on a header from seven yards out in the 80th minute. Sean Michel tallied his first collegiate goal in the 85th minute.

The Hawks finished with 23 shots and 12 shots on goal. Moncada led Rockhurst with five shots and two shots on goal. Panarisi collected four shots and three shots on goal.

Rockhurst (13-1-2 overall) plays at Missouri S&T on Sunday in a battle between the top two teams in the GLVC.
