The Rockhurst Hawks (7-3, 1-2 GLVC) host the unbeaten Bellarmine Knights (9-0, 3-0 GLVC) for the first time in two years at 1 p.m. Saturday (January 9). Bellarmine defeated the Hawks, 74-66, last year at Bellarmine. The Knights lead the all-time series, 7-2.

Mary Dineen leads the Hawks in scoring (18.2). Dineen ranks fourth in scoring, first in 3-point field goals made (3.2), third in 3-point field goal percentage (50.8) and sixth in free throw percentage (85.7) in the GLVC. Sophomore guard
Jillian Myers ranks first in steals (3.6), fourth in assists (4.8) and sixth in assist/turnover ratio in the GLVC. Senior forward
Lauren Meyers stands 18th in scoring (12.0) in the GLVC. Junior center
Haleigh Cindrich ranks third in blocked shots (1.4) in the conference. The Hawks are averaging 65.3 points per game. Rockhurst ranks first in 3-point field goals made (8.7), first in turnover margin and third in steals (10.2) in
the GLVC.
Rockhurst dropped its conference home opener, falling to Southern Indiana 68-54 Thursday night at Mason-Halpin. The Hawks were outscored 37-26 in the second half after only trailing 31-28 at halftime.
Mary Dineen led the Hawks with 27 points and four assists. Dineen connected on six-of-12 three-point shots.
Lauren Meyers posted 11 points and four rebounds.
Jillian Myers tallied eight points and six steals.
Kendall Hart added a team-high five rebounds.
The Knights are coming off a 78-75 victory at William Jewell Thursday night. Junior forward Sarah Galvin led Bellarmine with 26 points, nine rebounds and four steals. Galvin leads the Knights in scoring (18.4, third in GLVC) and rebounding (7.7, sixth in GLVC). Senior guard Mackenzie Martinez ranks sixth in assists (4.6) in the GLVC.
