The Rockhurst Hawks (10-4, 3-3 GLVC) meet the William Jewell Cardinals (6-11, 1-5 GLVC) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division matchup at 5:30 Monday )January 18) at the Mabee Center in Liberty, Missouri.

The Cardinals won their last meeting, 85-78, at Jewell on Feb. 26, 2015. Jewell has won eight of the last 11 meetings in the series.

Junior guard Mary Dineen leads the Hawks in scoring (17.7, fourth in the GLVC). Dineen also ranks second in 3-point field goals made (2.8), sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (47.0) and third in free throw percentage (88.2) in the GLVC. Senior forward Lauren Meyers stands 16th in scoring (12.5) in the GLVC. Dineen and Meyers are both closing in on the 1,000-point club. Dineen has scored 994 career points and Meyers currently has 950 career points.

Sophomore guard Jillian Myers ranks first in steals (3.4), fifth in assists (4.2) and fourth in assist/turnover ratio in the GLVC. Junior center Haleigh Cindrich is tied for third in blocked shots (1.4) in the GLVC. Rockhurst ranks first in 3-point field goals made (8.8), second in turnover margin, second in blocked shots (4.1), third in field goal percentage defense (35.6) and third in 3-point field goal percentage defense (27.4), fourth in scoring defense (58.1), fifth in steals (9.4) and fifth in scoring margin (plus 11.1) in the GLVC.

The Hawks are coming off a 74-54 victory at McKendree on Saturday. Dineen led the Hawks with 20 points, three assists and two steals. Marisa Lowe scored 15 points on five 3-point field goals. Myers collected eight rebounds, six steals, five points, four blocks and three assists. Meyers added 12 points. The Hawks shot 51.9 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from behind the 3-point line.
