Box Score Six players scored in double figures to lead Rockhurst to a 93-46 victory over Central Christian College Monday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.
The Hawks took control of the game in the second quarter after opening the period on a 14-0 run. Rockhurst outscored the Tigers 27-4 in the second quarter to take a 48-18 halftime lead.
All 11 players in uniform made a field goal for Rockhurst. Mary Dineen led the Hawks with 14 points, four assists and five steals. Lauren Meyers collected 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Kaci German posted 12 points and 12 rebounds. Briahtia Sebek (11), Brittany Meyer (11) and Marisa Lowe (10) also scored in double figures. Meyer had a team-high five assists. Haleigh Cindrich added seven rebounds and three blocked shots.
Rockhurst shot 43.6 percent from the field (34 of 78) and 94.1 percent from the free-throw line (16 of 17). Central Christian made 17-of-71 field goals (23.9 percent) and six-of-10 free throws (60.0 percent). Heather Crittenden paced the Tigers with 18 points and seven rebounds.
The Hawks, 8-4 and 1-3 in the GLVC, return to conference action at Illinois Springfield on Thursday (January 14).
