Connor Mullen headed in a six-yard shot to give the Hawks a 1-0 victory over Bellarmine Sunday at Bourke Field.
The seventh-ranked Hawks stand alone in first place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 6-0 record.
Mullen's first goal of the season came off a corner kick from
Kaleb Jackson with 3:18 left in the first overtime period. Rockhurst outshot the Knights, 12-3. Jackson led the Hawks with three shots and two shots on goal. Mullen and
Claudio Romano each had two shots.
Logan Feldmann posted his fourth shutout of the season.
The Hawks, 6-0-1, return to the road to play at Truman State on Friday.
