Box Score Rockhurst rallied in the second half to force overtime before falling to William Jewell 85-78 Thursday night at the Mabee Center in Liberty, Mo. The Hawks finish the season with an 11-15 record (5-13 in the GLVC).

The Cardinals went on a 10-0 run in overtime to take a 76-67 lead. Jewell made all 11 of its free throws in the extra session. The Hawks tied the game at 62-all with nine seconds left in the second half on a layup by Mary Dineen. Rockhurst outscored Jewell 37-25 in the second half after trailing 37-25 at halftime.

Dineen led the Hawks with 23 points and four assists. Kendall Hart posted 16 points and three steals. Lauren Meyers collected nine points. Haleigh Cindrich tallied eight points and five rebounds. Jillian Myers added eight points and four assists.

Rockhurst shot 50.0 percent from the field (30 of 60) and 46.2 percent from the free-throw line (6 of 13). Jewell made 28-of-63 field goals (44.4 percent) and 22-of-28 free throws (78.6 percent). Aerial Smith paced the Cardinals with 26 points, six assists and five steals.
