Box Score Becca Strobbe canned a 3-pointer from 25 feet out with 1.5 seconds left to give Rockhurst a 53-50 victory over Illinois Springfield Saturday in Springfield, Ill.

Strobbe's shot from the right wing, off a pass from Mary Dineen, was set up off a Springfield offensive foul with 13 seconds left. The Hawks led 50-47 on a jumper by Lauren Meyers with 3:34 left. The Prairie Stars made three free throws to tie the score going into the final minute.

Dineen led the Hawks with 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals. Kendall Hart posted 12 points and eight rebounds. Lauren Meyers collected 11 points and five rebounds. Taylor Skala added 10 points, five rebounds and six steals.

Rockhurst shot 31.1 percent from the field (19 of 61) and 69.2 percent from the free-throw line (9 of 13). Springfield made 16-of-51 field goals (31.4 percent) and 12-of-19 free throws (63.2 percent). Shelbi Patterson paced Prairie Stars with 10 points.

The Hawks, 10-13 and 4-11 in the GLVC, play at Missouri S&T on Thursday, Feb. 19.
