Winning streak ends at 19 in a row for Hawks

Box Score Third-ranked Ferris State ended Rockhurst's winning streak at 19 in row Saturday afternoon at the Mizuno Midwest Region Tournament Saturday in Aurora, Ill. The Bulldogs swept eighth-ranked Rockhurst 3-0 with Ferris State posting 25-20, 25-18 and 25-20 set wins.

Morgan Rietzke led the Hawks with nine kills and seven digs. Preecy Seever collected eight kills and five blocks. Alyssa Arnold posted 16 digs and six kills. Anne Hellwege added 12 digs. Whitney Kostal finished with 31 assists and eight digs.

Seever was named to the All-Tournament team.

The Hawks, 19-1 and 9-0 in the GLVC, play at Emporia State Tuesday night.
