Box Score Morgan Rietzke and Katie Loescher combined for 34 kills to lead eighth-ranked Rockhurst to a 3-2 victory over Hillsdale in the Hawks' opening match in the Mizuno Midwest Region Tournament Friday in Aurora, Ill. The Hawks, 19-1, moved their winning streak to 18 consecutive matches.

Rockhurst won the fifth set, 15-13, after dropping the third and fourth sets. The Hawks won the first two sets, 25-11 and 25-21.

Rietzke finished with 17 kills, 16 digs and three blocks. Loescher posted 17 kills and five blocks. Alyssa Arnold tallied 18 digs and seven kills. Anne Hellwege produced 12 digs. Whitney Kostal collected 51 assists and 10 digs. Mattie Gray posted 11 kills. Preecy Seever added eight kills and five blocks.
