Box Score Quincy held Rockhurst to 34.4 percent shooting in cruising to a 71-59 victory over the Hawks Thursday night at the Pepsi Arena in Quincy, Ill.

Rockhurst fell behind 41-26 at halftime after Quincy closed the first half on a 22-13 run. The Hawks outscored Quincy 33-30 in the second half with the help of a 22-11 run over the final 9:06 of the game.

Jillian Meyers led the Hawks with 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Lauren Meyers posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Kendall Hart collected 10 points and seven rebounds. Laura Wilson finished with eight points, seven rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals. Mary Dineen added eight points and four assists.

Rockhurst shot 22.7 percent on 3-point shots (5 of 22) and 66.7 percent from the free-throw line (10 of 15). Quincy made 25-of-66 field goals (37.9 percent) and 13-of-20 free throws (65.0 percent). Quincy scored 16 points off 11 Rockhurst turnovers.

The Hawks, 8-8 and 2-6 in the GLVC, play at Truman State on Saturday, Jan. 24.
