Box Score The Rockhurst Hawks suffered their first loss of the season Friday night, falling 3-1 to Drury in Springfield, Mo.

Drury won the first two sets, 25-17 and 25-21. Rockhurst captured the third set, 25-23, and dropped the fourth set, 25-19. The Hawks finished with a .155 hitting percentage, while Drury posted a .204 hitting percentage.

Katie Loescher led the Hawks with 12 kills and a .308 hitting percentage. Maggie Hummel added 11 kills. Preecy Seever tallied 10 kills and four blocks. Morgan Rietzke posted 10 kills and seven digs. Alyssa Arnold, Anne Hellwege and Lauren Poulicek combined for 39 digs. Whitney Kostal collected 45 assists and nine digs.

Rockhurst (9-1, 4-1 GLVC) plays at Missouri S&T on Saturday before returning home to host William Jewell Tuesday night.
