Box Score The Rockhurst men ended their inaugural season with a 23-5 loss at Lindenwood Tuesday night in St. Charles, Mo. The Hawks scored four of their goals in the second half after trailing 12-1 at halftime.
Five different players scored goals for Rockhurst (2-8).
Peter Hummel scored his team-high 19th goal in the second period.
Mark Blaise and
John Reichmeier scored in the third period.
Jack McDonough and
Daniel Shovlain capped the scoring with goals in the fourth period.
Hummel and McDonough led the Hawks with five shots apiece.
Grey Giesler,
Zach McGuff and Shovlain each posted a team-high four ground balls. Shovlain and
Elijah Gaea combined to win five faceoffs. McGuff finished with 16 saves in goal.
