Box Score The 16th-ranked Lewis Flyers dominated the second half to pull away for a 72-37 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night in Romeoville, Ill.
Lewis closed out the first half on a strong run to take 28-19 halftime lead. The Flyers outscored the Hawks 44-18 in the second half.
The Flyers controlled the paint (30-16) and the boards (57-32) while scoring 21 second-chance points. Lewis shot 42.8 percent from the field (26 of 61) and 66.7 percent (18 of 27) from the foul line.

Becky Squiers paced the Hawks with six points and three rebounds.

Taylor Skala each collected five points. Meyers and Skala added two steals each.
The Hawks shot 24.6 percent (15 of 61) from the field and 11.1 percent (two of 18) from the three-point line. Rockhurst only shot seven free throws with five made three throws.
Rockhurst, 6-14 and 1-11 in the GLVC, next plays at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wisconsin-Parkside.
