Box Score Lauren Meyers scored 15 of her team-high 19 points in the second half to lead Rockhurst to a 65-60 victory over Missouri S&T Thursday night at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.

Meyers connected on eight-of-11 field goals, including three-of-six from behind the 3-point line. She banked in a 3-pointer with 1:12 left to give Rockhurst a 60-54 lead. The Hawks closed out the game by hitting five-of-six free throws in the final 16 seconds.

The Hawks overcame a 40-30 deficit with 15 minutes left to play. A 13-0 run put Rockhurst in front 43-40 with 10 minutes remaining. A three-pointer by Susan Hohenadel gave the Hawks a 48-46 lead with 6:05 left.

Taylor Skala finished with nine points and five steals. Kendall Hart posted eight points and four rebounds. Becky Squiers had a team-high five rebounds. Staci Thomas paced the Hawks with five assists.

Rockhurst will host eighth-ranked Drury on Saturday at 1 p.m.
