Box Score A late comeback by Rockhurst fell short as the Hawks suffered a 60-57 loss to Missouri-St. Louis Saturday in St. Louis, Mo.

Taylor Skala was fouled on a driving layup with two seconds left with the Hawks down by two points. Skala missed both free throws and USML pulled down the rebound to ice the victory.
The Hawks led 34-27 at halftime and maintained their seven-point lead in the first six minutes of the second half. UMSL went on a 20-6 run over the next 11 minutes to take a 57-50 lead.
Rockhurst closed the margin to one point (58-57) with 1:04 left on two free throws from Skala, a three-pointer by
Kendall Hart and a layup by
Staci Thomas.
Mary Dineen the Hawks with 14 points and three assists. Hart scored 11 points behind three three-point field goals. Skala added eight points and three steals.
Lauren Meyers finished with a team-high six rebounds.
Rockhurst shot 41.8 percent (23 of 55) from the field and 45.5 percent (five of 11) from the three-point. The Tritons shot 38.9 percent from the field (21 of 54) and 56 percent (14 of 25) from the charity stripe.
Rockhurst, 6-13 and 1-10 in the GLVC, returns to the road next week for road games at Lewis and Wisconsin-Parkside.
