Box Score Lauren Meyers scored a career-high 27 points to lead Rockhurst to a 75-60 victory over the Avila Eagles Tuesday night at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.

Meyers opened the second half by scoring 11 of Rockhurst's first 15 points to give the Hawks a 52-41 lead. The junior guard connected on 10-of-16 field goals, including hitting four-of-five 3-point shots. Meyers also finished with five rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Mary Dineen posted 16 points, five rebounds and five assists. Kendall Hart tallied 16 points and six rebounds. Jillian Myers added five rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Rockhurst shot 50.9 percent from the field (29 of 57) and 50.0 percent from the foul line (10 of 20). The Hawks (6-3) return to conference play at Bellarmine on Jan. 2.
