Whitney Kostal was named to the GLVC-GLIAC Crossover All-Tournament Team as she helped lead Rockhurst to a 2-1 record on Friday and Saturday in Aurora, Ill. Kostal averaged 11.33 assists, 1.50 digs and 1.08 kills per set covering 12 sets

On Saturday, the Hawks defeated Saginaw Valley State 3-1 and fell to 11th-ranked Grand Valley State 3-1. The Hawks also posted a 3-1 win over Northern Michigan on Friday.
Morgan Rietzke collected 22 kills and eight digs against Saginaw Valley State. Rockhurst rallied to win the last three sets by a 75-63 advantage. Saginaw Valley won the first set, 30-28.Â
Preecy Seever posted 12 kills and five blocks.
Katie Loescher tallied 11 kills and four blocks.
Anne Hellwege collected a team-high 21 digs.
Lauren Poulicek added 15 digs.
Whitney Kostal finished with 54 assists.
Alyssa Arnold led the Hawks with 20 digs against Grand Valley State. The Hawks dropped the first two sets, 25-21 and 25-23, came back to win the third set 25-17 and fell in the fourth set, 25-22. Seever collected 12 kills. Rietzke and Loescher each had nine kills. Hellwege added 19 digs.
Rockhurst (17-3) returns home to host Newman Wednesday night.
