Box Score Senior forward Nick McDonald scored a goal in the 87th minute to lift 16th-ranked Rockhurst to a 1-0 victory over ninth-ranked Drury Sunday in Springfield, Mo.

McDonald knocked in his second goal of the season from 15 yards out off a pass from Mark Magee with 3:23 left in regulation.

Rockhurst outshot Drury 17-6. McDonald, Magee and Paolo Scoppola led the Hawks with four shots apiece. Senior keeper Ryan Bass made two saves.

The Hawks, 3-1 and 2-0, return to action on Friday at Bellarmine in a 5:30 p.m. CST start in Louisville, Ky.
