Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The 25th-ranked Rockhurst Hawks rebounded from their first loss of the season to grab a pair of wins on Friday in the TownePlace Suites Classic Thursday in Findlay, Ohio.

Rockhurst defeated Malone 3-1 (25-18, 25-17, 19-25, 25-12). The Hawks came back to sweep Mercyhurst 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-22). The two wins improved their record to 6-1.

Alyssa Arnold led the Hawks with 12 kills and 17 digs against Malone. Katie Loescher posted 10 kills. Victoria Mahl had a team-high 18 digs. Whitney Kostal totaled 40 assists and 12 digs. Morgan Rietzke finished with nine kills and seven digs. Emily Ready added eight kills and seven blocks.

In the win over Mercyhurst, Loescher finished with eight kills. Arnold posted seven kills and nine digs. Rietzke added six kills and nine digs. Kostal added 25 assists and eight digs.

The Hawks meet Hillsdale on Saturday on the final day of the Findlay Classic.
