Box Score Missouri Western pulled away down the stretch to edge Rockhurst 63-59 in a non-conference women's basketball Saturday night at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Griffons outscored Rockhurst 9-4 over the final 4:47 to remain unbeaten at 4-0. The Hawks are now 3-2 on the season after dropping their last two games against MIAA foes.

Mary Dineen scored in double figures for the fifth time to lead all scorers with 19 points. She made five-of-nine field goals and was a perfect 8-of-8 at the foul line.

Shavonne Brewer finished with 11 points as she also made all eight of her free throws. Lauren Meyers fouled out late with 10 points. Haleigh Cindrich led the Hawks with nine rebounds and three blocks. Becky Squiers added eight boards.
