Three players scored in double figures to lead Rockhurst to a 62-58 victory over Avila Saturday night at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House. The Hawks are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since the 2000-01 season.

Freshman Shavonne Brewer led the Hawks with 17 points and three steals. She made six-of-12 field goals, including three-of-four shots from behind the three-point line. Brewer iced the win with two free throws with 17 seconds left in the game.

Lauren Meyers posted 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Mary Dineen added 12 points, two assists, two blocks and two steals. Kendall Hart and Allison Streich each collected six rebounds.

The Hawks play at Southwest Baptist Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m.
