Box Score Rockhurst dropped its opening match in the GLVC-GLIAC Crossover, falling to Ferris State 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-20) on Friday in Aurora, Ill.

Katie Loescher and Kelsey Stratman led the Hawks with nine kills apiece. Maggie Hummel posted eight kills, Morgan Rietzke collected kills and Alyssa Arnold added six kills and eight digs.

Victoria Mahl had a team-high 16 digs. Whitney Kostal finished with 23 assists and eight digs.

The Hawks, 16-5, faces Wayne State and Northwood on the final day of the GLVC-GLIAC Crossover on Saturday.
