Rockhurst women fall at Wisconsin-Parkside, 1-0

Box Score Wisconsin-Parkside held Rockhurst to five shots while shutting out the Hawks 1-0 Sunday in Somers, Wis. The loss drops Rockhurst into a tie for fourth place in the GLVC with a 6-3-3 record.

The Rangers scored the only goal of the game in the 20th minute on a header off a corner kick. Parkside collected eight shots in the first half and 11 shots overall.

Taylor Skala led Rockhurst with three shots. Caroline Brandt and Julia Bartolacci added the other two shots for the Hawks. Freshman keeper Ali Wallner finished with three saves.

The Hawks, 8-4-3 overall, return home to host Indianapolis on Friday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m.
