Box Score The Rockhurst women's soccer team blanked Nebraska-Kearney 2-0 Tuesday in Omaha, Neb., to remain unbeaten on the season with a 6-0-2 record.
Brandi Van Booven scored her second goal of the season in the first half and
Jessica Cook notched her first goal in the second half. Van Booven found the nets on a breakaway from five yards out off a pass from
Jessica Bayens in the 29th minute. Cook tallied an unassisted goal from eight yards out in the 83rd minute.
Rockhurst finished with 15 shots,compared to nine shots for Kearney.
Taylor Skala led the Hawks with four shots. Van Booven and
Julia Bartolacci each added two shots. Freshman keeper
Ali Wallner posted her fifth shutout while making six saves.
The Hawks, 4-0-2 in the GLVC, return to conference action at 20th-ranked Truman State on Friday at 1 p.m.
