Rockhurst cruised to a 60-44 victory over Saint Joseph's in the Hawks' conference opener at Mason-Halpin Field House. The Hawks opened the second half on a 14-3 run to take a 36-24 lead. Rockhurst scored the last seven points of the first half to close within 21-19 of the Pumas at halftime.

Allison Streich paced the Hawks with nine points and five rebounds. MaKayla Grahn also finished with nine points. Melanie Siscos added eight points and four rebounds. Kara McFarland scored seven points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Taylor Skala contributed five steals off the bench. The Hawks, 3-6 and 1-1 in the GLVC, hosts Indianapolis on Saturday at 1 p.m.
