Box Score Quincy jumped out early in posting a 67-55 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night at the Pepsi Arena in Quincy, Ill. Rockhurst could never recover from a 19-3 run by Quincy in the first half.

Rockhurst fell behind 31-12 with six minutes left in the first half and trailed 44-27 at halftime. Quincy hit 19-of-30 field goals in the first half while Rockhurst was limited to 29.7 percent shooting.

Senior guard MaKayla Grahn led the Hawks with 11 points. She made all three of her 3-point shots. Freshman guard Kendall Hart finished with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists. Allison Streich posted a team-high six rebounds. Taylor Skala added four steals.

Rockhurst was limited to 30.0 percent shooting, while Quincy hit 49.1 percent of its field goals. Rockhurst, 4-11 overall and 2-6 in the GLVC, plays at Illinois Springfield on Saturday at 1 p.m.
