Sophomore midfielder Nicky Alfonsin scored two goals to lead 20th-ranked Rockhurst to a 3-2 victory over Wisconsin-Parkside in a quarterfinal match in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Soccer Tournament Sunday in Somers, Wis.

Alfonsin's second goal broke a 2-2 tie in the 83rd minute. Taylor Skala scored her team-high 11th goal to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead in the first half. Skala led the team with five shots.

Rockhurst, 13-2-3, will play top-seeded Quincy (Ill.) in the semifinals of the GLVC Tournament on Friday, Nov. 2 in Quincy, Ill. William Jewell and Bellarmine will meet in the second GLVC semifinal on Friday in Quincy.
