Tanner tied for first place after regulation before losing a one-hole playoff at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship on April 22 in Columbus, Ind. Tanner shot a two-under par 214 (72-72-70) on the par-72 Otter Creek Golf Course. Tanner's top five finish at the GLVC tourney earned the sophomore his second consecutive All-Conference selection. He finished in the top 20 in his last four tournaments.
