Senior middle hitter Katie Loescher was tabbed the Baden/GLVC Offensive Player of the Week. Loescher led the Hawks in their perfect 4-0 weekend with 50 kills (4.17 per set), a .592 hitting percentage and 59.5 points (4.69 per set). Rockhurst won all 12 sets played and defeated the fifth-ranked team in Wayne State. She also posted 14 blocks and five digs in those 12 sets. Loescher led the team with 14 kills and six blocks against Wayne State and was named to the Rockhurst Classic All-Tournament Team. This is the Newton, Kan., native's first career weekly honor.
