Lauren Willson joined the Rockhurst University sports medicine staff in August 2024. Willson primarily works with the men's and women's soccer and men's volleyball teams.Â

Lauren played volleyball at Hutchinson Community College for two years before transferring to Kansas State University to finish her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. Willson continued her education at Kansas State to obtain her Master's degree in Athletic Training in May 2024.

During her time in graduate school, she gained experience working with NCAA Division I football and track & field/cross country, Olathe North High School, and Stonecreek Family Physician.Â
Lauren grew up in Tonganoxie, Kansas. She is now living in Kansas City where she enjoys spending her free time playing sand volleyball with friends, attending Kansas City Chiefs and K-State football games with family, and studying the Bible.
