Apryl Schmucker joins the volleyball coaching staff this fall as a graduate assistant coach. Schmucker recently served as an assistant coach at Barton County Community College.
A native of Little River, Kan., Schmucker was a setter for three years at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Mich. She played on three Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship teams at Hillsdale, where she culminated her college career by playing in the NCAA Division II Final Four in 2011.
Schmucker was named first team All-Conference and second team All-American in her senior year, in addition to being a second team All-Conference selection in 2009 and 2010. She finished her career with 3,671 assists, 744 digs, 398 kills, 155 service aces and 139 blocks.
