Rockhurst University Athletics

Brian Moeller has been hired as the new head men's and women's golf coach, beginning in January 2023.

Moeller has played competitive golf on the local amateur tours in the Kansas City area for the past seven years. He was the Kansas City Amateur Net Division champion in 2021 and has finished in the top five three times in the Net Division of the Missouri Four Ball Championship.

He was a two-sport athlete at Rockhurst University from 1998 to 2003. He was the starting point guard on the men's basketball team that finished 24-6 and advanced to the NCAA regional finals in 2002. He was an infielder and outfielder for the Hawks' baseball team, and played on the 1999 team that finished fourth at the NCAA Division II Championship.

Moeller graduated from Rockhurst University with a psychology degree in 2003 and received his MBA in management from Rockhurst in 2011. He has served as an assistant coach for the Rockhurst women's basketball team for the past seven years. Moeller has two daughters, Addison and Reilly, who are both competitive athletes in soccer, softball and basketball.
