Jarred Dixon will begin his first season as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball program.
Dixon had an impressive playing career, including playing abroad in both Czech Republic and England. As a collegiate athlete, Dixon played for the Missouri State Bears where he finished 15th on the MSU career scoring list (1,245 points), sixth in games played (128), fifth in minutes played (3,430), and 11th in steals (126). He finished with 64 career double-figure scoring games and was awarded MVC All-Bench Team honors, and he was MVC All-Freshman team selection.
Dixon, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, graduated from Missouri State in 2019 with a degree in sport and park administration. He earned his Master's degree in higher education from Providence College and was the graduate manager for the Friars for two years.
