Favorite Dance Style: Ballet

Dance Highlights: I started when I was three at Tammy Brenner Dance. I have performed with the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company. Freshman year at Rockhurst, the dance team qualified for Nationals.

Why Stephanie Chose Rockhurst: I went to a Jesuit high school and wanted to stick with a Jesuit education. Rockhurst also has a good pre-med program that I was interested in.

What Stephanie Loves About Rockhurst: I love getting to continue my dance career. I also really like my sorority.

What Stephanie Loves About the Spirit Squad: I loved getting to meet the new girls this year. It has been a blast making new friendships and connections. I’m also loving our coaches. They are fun, goofy, and keep practices on task but light hearted. I also get to be a part of the cheer squad on the sidelines which is really fun. I haven’t had to do cheers before but am really enjoying it. Everyone bonded really quickly which was special. It’s also special that both of our coaches are Rockhurst alums. They are serious about the team but are light hearted people. Which means practice is super fun but we get a lot done and improve as a team every practice.
