Rockhurst Women's Soccer travels to Emporia, Kansas to face Emporia State on Wednesday (Sept. 2) at 4 p.m., followed by their home opener against Indianapolis on Saturday (Sept. 5) at 10 a.m. to begin conference play.
The Hawks started the 2026 season unbeaten in Kearney, Nebraska after their first two games of the season last weekend. A second-half goal by
Julia Witt, received from Caitlin Smith's corner, rallied the Hawks to a 1-1 tie on Friday (Aug. 28) afternoon against Nebraska Kearney.Â

Caitlyn Smith pushed Rockhurst to a 3-1 victory over Fort Hays State on Sunday afternoon.
Emporia State (1-0-1) tied 1-1 at Drury last Wednesday (Aug. 27) and won 3-2 at home over Maryville on Friday (Aug. 29) to begin their season. Wednesday's contest will be the first since 2021 when the Hornets won 1-0 on Sept. 3, 2021, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Rockhurst is 6-2-1 against Emporia State dating back to Oct. 24, 2001.
Indianapolis (0-1) fell 2-1 to Ohio Dominican on Aug. 29 on the road. Dating back to Oct. 7, 2005, the Hawks are 12-5-4 against the Greyhounds and are on a five-match unbeaten streak. Rockhurst won 8-0 against Indianapolis in the last matchup on Sept. 28, 2025 inside Bourke Field.
