Women's Soccer Set to Face Maryville on Saturday

Rockhurst Women's Soccer returns home to host Maryville on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Bourke Field.

Heading into Saturday, the Hawks (8-1-1) sit in third place in the conference at 6-1, just a game back of McKendree for first place. Maryville is right behind Rockhurst with a 5-1-1 conference mark.

Both teams are also on winning streaks. Rockhurst has won two in a row while the Saints have won their last three and four of their last five.

The Hawks defeated Lincoln 2-1 on Sept. 23 at Bourke Field and Upper Iowa 3-0 on Sept. 26 in Fayette, Iowa.

Rockhurst senior defender Quinn Conroy was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Defensive Player of the Week in women's soccer, the league office announced Monday (Sept. 28).

The St. Louis, Missouri, native played 148 total minutes across the two victories and helped the Hawks allow just one goal last week. Conroy also contributed on the offensive side of the ball, scoring the first goal of her college career against Upper Iowa.

Maryville (5-4-2) won 4-0 over Indianapolis on Sept. 30. Rockhurst is 10-8-1 all-time against the Saints, dating back to Sept. 25, 2009.

The Saints have won the last five contests over the Hawks, including both matchups in 2025. Maryville won 1-0 on Sept. 25, 2025, at Bourke Field and 1-0 on Nov. 9, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri at the GLVC Tournament Quarterfinals.
