Rockhurst falls on the road to Quincy

Quincy scored 23 points in the third quarter to pull away for a 64-48 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night in Quincy, Illinois.

Rockhurst fell behind 22-8 in the second quarter before going on a 13-0 run to pull within one point of Quincy with 1:33 left in the first half.

Quincy scored the last seven points of the first half and the first eight points of the second half to take a 37-21 lead with 7:20 left in the third quarter. Rockhurst cut Quincy's lead to 14 late in the fourth quarter.

Ella Campbell led the Hawks with 11 points (all in the second half) on four-of-seven shooting. She connected on three-of-six 3-point field goals.

Lauren Sandstrom posted eight points and a season-high 10 rebounds. Tori Miller added nine points and four rebounds. Macie Conway scored eight points.
