Hawks collect nine individual wins at Saint Mary

The Rockhurst men's swimming and diving team posted a 159-85 dual meet victory  over the University of Saint Mary Saturday in Leavenworth, Kansas. The Hawks also defeated Sterling College, 196-22.

Highlights:
  • Ian Klapper captured the 100 breaststroke (58.48) and the 200 breaststroke (2:12.21).
  • Mohannad Nada won the 200 backstroke (2:01.51) and the 400 individual medley (4:18.67).
  • Jack Powell took first in the 200 butterfly (2:03.76), second in the 400 individual medley (4:32.63) and third in the 200 freestyle (1:54.73).
  • Alexandre Adum took second in the 100 butterfly (53.54) and third in the 50 freestyle (22.65).
  • Preston Hoang placed second in the 50 freestyle (22.03) and second in the 500 freestyle (5:37.63).
  • Palmer Keith won the 1,000 freestyle (10:16.80).
  • Tiago Deluca placed second in the 200 backstroke (2:04.67).
  • Michael Fasnacht won the 200 freestyle (1:51.67).
  • Ben Chumley placed first in the 100 backstroke (55.0) and second in the 100 freestyle (50.52).
  • The 400 medley relay team of Dakota Windsor, Collin Ho, Adum and Jacob Clink finished first in a time of 3:37.70.
  • The 200 freestyle relay team of Klapper, Clink, Deluca and Hoang came in first place in a time of 1:30.17.
