Hawks post 5-1 win over Prairie Stars

Anna Lantz scored two goals lead Rockhurst to a 5-1 win over Illinois Springfield Friday night at Bourke Field during RU's Family and Alumni Weekend.

Lantz scored one goal in each half. Julia Witt also posted a goal in the first half. Caitlyn Smith and Jacie Tottleben recorded goals in the second half. Smith, Jaycee Schumann, Maya Wallace and Karsen Koehler collected assists.

Lantz led the Hawks with six shots. Smith had five shots (two on goal). Alexis Cates posted four shots (one on goal), while Witt tallied three shots.

Rockhurst took 23 shots (10 on goal). Ally Moore made six saves. The Prairie Stars scored their goal in the 64th minute.

The Hawks (2-3-2, 1-2-1 GLVC) take on Indianapolis on Sunday at noon at Bourke Field.
