The Rockhurst women's soccer team resumes conference play with two matches this week. The Hawks take on Missouri-St. Louis Friday at 5 p.m. at UMSL before a home match against 14th-ranked Maryville at noon Sunday at Bourke Field.

The Hawks (1-1-2, 0-0-1 GLVC) netted ties in both of their matches last week, including a 0-0 tie against Davenport in St. Louis last Thursday and a 1-1 tie at McKendree last Sunday.

Junior goalkeeper Ally Moore earned her first shutout of the season against Davenport. Senior forward Anna Lantz scored her second goal of the season and senior goalkeeper Kayce Cooper made four saves against McKendree.

UMSL (1-2-1, 0-0-1 GLVC) fell to Northwest Missouri State 1-0 last Wednesday and tied 1-1 with Drury last Sunday. The Hawks hold an 11-9-4 series lead over the Tritons since 2005.

Maryville (3-0-1, 1-0 GLVC) collected a pair of wins last week, defeating Northwest Missouri State 2-1 last Friday and Southwest Baptist 1-0 last Sunday. Before Sunday's match at Bourke Field against the Hawks, the Saints take on William Jewell on Friday.

The Hawks lead the all-time series 10-6-1 dating back to 2009. The Saints won 4-0 over the Hawks in their most recent matchup on Sept. 20, 2024.
