Rockhurst Women's Soccer played to a 1-1 tie against McKendree in Lebanon, Illinois on Sunday afternoon to begin conference play.
Anna Lantz scored her second goal of the season. It was during the 12th minute from 30 yards out to the upper left of the net over the goalkeeper's hands. The Bearcats answered with a goal in the 88th minute to tie the game.
Lantz led the Hawks with six shots (five on goal). Caitlyn Smith, Maya Wallace and Jazmin Martinez Rangel each recorded two shots.
Overall, Rockhurst took 16 shots (eight on goal). Kayce Cooper recorded four saves.
Rockhurst (1-1-2, 0-0-1 GLVC) resumes conference play on the road on Friday at 5 p.m. against UMSL in St. Louis, Missouri.
