Men finish seventh at GLVC Championships

Ina Klapper finished 17th in the 200 breaststroke

The Rockhurst men's swimming and diving team finished in seventh place with 516 points at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday in Elkhart, Indiana.

On the final day of the GLVC Championships, the Hawks scored 119 points in four events.

Saturday Results:

Jacob Clink came in 19th place in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:29.20).
Omar Mohsen placed 22nd place in the 1650 freestyle (16:33.42).
Mohannad Nada finished 10th in the 200 breaststroke (2:00.48)
Ian Klapper came in 17th in the 200 breaststroke (2:01.87).
JJ Davis scored 26 points with a fourth-place finish in the 1-meter diving (367.85).
The relay team of Mohsen, Ali Usama, Omar Abla and Adam Hamdy came in seventh place in the 400 freestyle relay (3:02.27).
Alexandre Adum, Klapper, Clink and Preston Hoang finished 19th in the 400 freestyle relay (3:07.52).
