Rockhurst drops road game at Drury

Drury pulled away in the second half to post a 73-46 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night in Springfield, Missouri.

Rockhurst led for more than five minutes in the first period and took a 13-8 lead midway through the opening quarter.

The Panthers jumped out to a 36-24 halftime lead and closed the third period on a 17-3 run to take a 56-32 lead. Drury opened the fourth period on a 15-4 run to take a 71-36 lead.

Lauren Sandstrom led the Hawks with seven points on two field goals and two free throws. Keegan Sullivan posted six points, seven rebounds and four steals.

Rebeca Garcia finished with six points, eight rebounds and one blocked shot. Chloe Frank, Macie Conway and Cristina Luquin combined for 18 points and eight rebounds.
