Hawks compete in GLVC Championships in Indiana

The Rockhurst swimming and diving teams head to Indiana this week to compete at the 2024 GLVC Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Feb. 11-15 at the Elkhart Health and Aquatics in Elkhart, Indiana.

Eleven men's teams and 10 women's squads will vie for the 2025 GLVC Championship. Nine GLVC schools currently sponsor both men's and women's swimming and diving, including Drury, Indianapolis, Lewis, Maryville, McKendree, Missouri-St. Louis, Quincy, Rockhurst, Truman State, and William Jewell. Missouri S&T currently fields a men's squad only.

"We are hoping to get multiple top eight finishes and post times that will qualify us for the NCAAs," said Rockhurst coach Doug Schranck.

This year's GLVC Championship meet will again be streamed live on the GLVC Sports Network at GLVCSN.com, but a new pay-per-view pricing model will be utilized. The GLVCSN Android and iOS apps can also be downloaded on your mobile device, while the OTT platforms on Roku, Amazon fireTV, Android TV, and Apple TV are compatible with the GLVCSN app.

Drury scored 1,867 points to secure its eighth GLVC women's title. Indianapolis scored a total of 1,512.5 points for the men's win.
