Mohannad Nada swam the second fastest time in school history in the 200 breaststroke

Nada leads Hawks at University of Kansas Invite

The Rockhurst men's swimming and diving team finished in first place with 179 points at the University of Kansas Invite Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.

Highlights:
  • Mohannad Nada swam the second fastest time in school history with a personal best and first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (1:59.89), which is also an NCAA provisional qualifying time.
  • Dakota Windsor won the 200 individual medley (1:55.54) and the 100 breaststroke (57.71). He swam a personal best in the 100 breaststroke, which was the fourth best in program history.
  • Alexandre Adum took first in the 100 freestyle (47.12) and 100 butterfly (51.06).
  • Omar Abla placed first in the 50 freestyle (21.64) and second in the 200 butterfly (51.68).
  • Palmer Keith won the 100 backstroke (55.56) and came in second in the 200 backstroke (2:0.23).
  • Tiago Deluca placed first in second in the 200 butterfly (1:53.20).
  • Michael Fasnacht won the 200 freestyle (1:53.31).
  • Ben Chumley placed first in the 200 backstroke (1:56.59).
  • Michael Leonard and JJ Davis both finished in the top three in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving.
  • The Hawks finished first and second in the 200 freestyle relay.
