Hawks fall to Maryville in GLVC quarterfinals

The Rockhurst women's soccer team fell to Maryville, 1-0, in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Tournament Sunday afternoon in St. Louis.

Maryville broke the scoreless tie in the 21st minute when Ashylne Hunt on a 15-yard shot with an assist from Elsa Nilson-Hurtig. 

The Saints held Rockhurst to two shots (both on goal) by Lucy Molitor and Alex Zoellner. Madison Mertzlufft collected one save and the Hawks were credited with a team save.

The Hawks end their season with an 8-6-4 record.
