The Rockhurst men's swimming and diving team defeated Southwest Baptist, 159-58, and fell to Saint Louis, 114.50-104.50, at the SLU Tri-Meet Saturday in St. Louis. Rockhurst recorded five first-place finishes, six seconds and four thirds.

Highlights:

• Tiago Deluca and Alexandre Adum finished first (1:55.49) and second (1:56.47) in the 200 butterfly.
• Omar Abla was the winner in the 100 freestyle (46.59).
• Jack Powell won the 1,000 freestyle (10:14.61).
• Ian Klapper captured the 200 breaststroke (2:08.27).
• Mohannad Nada came in second in the 200 breaststroke (2:11.70) and third in the 400 individual medley (4:12.60).
• The Hawks won the 200-yard freestyle relay with Deluca, Preston Hoang, Omar Mohsen and Abla (1:25.20).
• Palmer Keith placed second in the 200 individual medley (4:11.32) and third in the 500 freestyle (5:01.19).
• Omar Mohsen came in second in the 200 freestyle (1:43.84) and third in the 100 freestyle (47.56).
• Michael Leonard and JJ Davis took second and third in the 1-meter diving.
